X-MAS-CUP 2008 IN ZILINA/SLOWAKEI

Vom 28. bis zum 30. Dezember 2008 findet in Zilina. der drittgrößten Stand in der Slovakei, das X-mas-Turnier 2008 für  U 14, U 16 und U 18-Teams (weiblich und männlich) statt. Hier die Einladung (in englischer Sprache):

Dear basketball friends,

BADEM (Youth and Children Basketball) organises International Basketball X-mas Tournament and would like to invite your team to take part in it.

The X-mas tournament is held from 28-th till 30-th December 2008 in following age categories:

U18 junior men teams (born after the 1-st January 1991)
U16 cadet teams  (born after the 1-st January 1993)
U14 passarela  (born after the 1-st January 1995)

WU18 junior women teams  (born after the 1-st January 1990)
WU16 cadettess teams  (born after the 1-st January 1992)
WU14 passarela  (born after the 1-st January 1994)

Let me note, this is not a misstype. We have different age categories for boys and girls in Slovakia.

The fee makes 65 EUR registration fee for a team and 66 EUR for a person. It includes accommodation and full boarding. The registration fee is to be paid in advance to our bank account, the rest in cash after your arrival.

As in our sport hall should start the planed reconstruction, our tournament games will be played in more different gyms. Three of them are concentrated in the same street together with the hostel and dinning room, one (U14 boys) in defferent city part and one (WU16) is located in short distanced village Teplicka.

Playing time: 4x10 minutes effective time. Five matches are guaranteed for each team.

The fee include full boarding  starting with dinner on 27-th December(3 meals daily, hot meals are provided)and accommodation (3 nights).

Accommodation:  at surrounding hostels.

Boarding: Hot meals are provided.

Matches are played by international FIBA rules. Five matches are guaranteed for each team.

TRANSPORTATION
For the long distanced teams: Please consider the flights to Bratislava or to Vienna with a low-cost airlines Skyeurope or Ryanair. The destinations you can find on the web pages

We can help you to arrange the transportation from the airport to Zilina and back. The pricedepends on the chosen airport, on the selected kind of the bus and of course on the changes on the crude oil markets. The transportation costs are to be paid in advance to our bank account.
